UPI withdrawal stuck for 48 hours on [platform] — what to do?

If your UPI withdrawal has been stuck for 48+ hours, here's a systematic troubleshooting guide:

Step 1: Check the platform status

Log into the platform app → Go to Withdrawal History → Check the status. It should show "Processing", "Completed", or "Failed". If it shows "Completed" but money isn't in your account, the issue is on the bank side.

Step 2: Check your bank

Sometimes UPI credits sit in a "pending" state at the bank. Check your bank app for any pending incoming transactions. Some banks (especially SBI) take 2-4 hours to credit even after UPI confirmation.

Step 3: Contact the platform

If status shows "Processing" for 48+ hours, contact support with:

  • Your withdrawal request ID / transaction ID
  • The exact amount
  • Your UPI ID used
  • Screenshot of the pending status

Step 4: Escalate if needed

If the platform doesn't resolve within 72 hours, file a complaint with NPCI (National Payments Corporation) through their dispute mechanism. This usually speeds things up.

In my experience, 90% of "stuck" withdrawals are actually processing normally — they just take longer during peak times (weekends, IPL match days, month-end).

Good guide. I'll add: always keep screenshots of your withdrawal requests. If you ever need to dispute with NPCI or the bank, having timestamps and transaction IDs saves days of back-and-forth.

This happened to me last week. Turned out the platform had processed it but my bank (SBI) took an extra 6 hours to credit. The platform's status showed "Completed" but money wasn't there yet. Panicked for nothing 😅
